How to log & upload your rides

Works with VESC-based controllers using the VESC Tool app (iOS/Android).

Install VESC Tool
iOS App Store · Google Play
iOS users: alternatively, you can install Yours Truly. iOS App Store
Connect & enable logging
Open VESC Tool, connect to your board, then enable RT Data Logging.
Ride & save
After your session, a log file is saved (CSV or GPX). Use your phone’s file browser to find it.
Upload
Go to / → Upload CSV/GPX. After upload, your track opens automatically.

Tips

Allow location access for VESC Tool; start logging after GPS has a fix.
Supported formats: .csv, .gpx, .json.
Big jumps at the start? The viewer filters sudden GPS jumps > 50 m automatically.
Logs stay on your device until you upload them.

Upload CSV/GPX

To log your rides you will need to have a VESC type controller with Bluetooth enabled to connect to it using your mobile phone.

Install the VESC Tool app for iOS, Yours Truly app for iOS, or VESC Tool app for Android connect to your board and enable RT Data Logging. You can choose a place to store files by using the “Browse” button or just leave it to default.

What we collect

Uploaded logs: CSV/GPX/JSON you choose to upload. Used only to render maps/charts.
Basic telemetry: derived stats (distance, time, speed) for the open track.
Contact form: name, email, subject, message (and your IP to help fight spam).
Server logs: standard web logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp, request URL) for abuse prevention and debugging.

How we use it

To display your track and site functionality.
To reply to your contact messages.
To protect the service (rate-limits, CSRF, spam checks).

Retention

Uploaded logs: automatically deleted on a regular schedule (older files are pruned), or removed sooner upon request to the admin.
Contact emails are kept as long as needed to respond and for records.
Server logs rotate automatically.

Sharing

No sale of personal data. We only share if required by law or to protect the service.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sessions/CSRF only. No third-party ad cookies.

Don’t upload logs you don’t want stored.
Ask us to remove a track by using the contact option.
